  • I’ve always wanted to write you Bonnie to express my profound gratitude and appreciation for all you’ve done to help me function in the real world despite my progress hearing loss.

Not only are you a great audiologist, you are also one of the most caring healthcare professionals (and people) I’ve ever meet. You are up-to-date with the latest in hearing aid technology and provide your clients the best and most complete level of service.

I cannot thank my lucky stars enough for having been directed to your office by the Starkey Company when I moved to this area from Boston almost 25-years ago. It seems like only yesterday. From those early days I recognized that you were a special person and prayed you would continue in practice ‘forever’.

Thank goodness you are still vigorous and healthy – I look forward being your patient till my days are done. You know I always joke that you are a saint…the truth is, you are!

  • I have been wearing hearing aids for over 40 years. Every new hearing aid needed to be stronger than the last. Two years ago, I experienced a severe loss of hearing. Doctors both in Westchester and the Bronx started talking about me needing a cochlear implant operation. I dreaded the thought, but I knew without my hearing I would have to go out of business after 40 years.

I always heard good things about Dr. Bonnie Rubin so I thought I would give her a try. Dr. Rubin took all the basic tests and felt she would be able to help me. It turned out to be harder than she thought. She tried one hearing aid then several more. I wanted to give up but she refused. Dr. Rubin wanted to try again. She even asked for help from the company that makes the hearing aids. They sent a representative to assist Dr. Rubin. I walked out of that office that day hearing better than I have in years. I even removed all the amplifiers from my office and home phones.

I find that I enjoy going to restaurants and parties more than before. I thank Dr. Rubin for her patience and determination to keep trying even after I was ready to quit.
    Thank you, Dr. Rubin!

  • I’ve never worn hearing aids before. And my hearing loss is not severe, but I knew that I needed some help. Dr. Bonnie Rubin was very professional and knowledgeable, but she was also incredibly patient and understanding. You usually don’t see that level of commitment in doctors these days. I didn’t expect to be wearing my Oticon hearing aids every day, but they are so comfortable that I hardly know they’re even on, so I am wearing them all the time. After I was fit with them, I was in Manhattan for the afternoon exposed to loud traffic and crowd noise in Times Square and at a very noisy restaurant. But it didn’t bother me at all! And I was able to hear well despite it. It all seemed natural and seamless to me. I would encourage everyone to get the help they need, but you need to see the right audiologist. I can’t imagine receiving better care than I received from Dr. Bonnie Rubin, and I can’t thank her enough. I know I’m in the best hands.

  • Dr. Rubin is an excellent audiologist and a vast improvement over other audiologists I have seen. The hearing aids she recommended for me have changed my life, and she continues to provide excellent service on them. I recommend her highly.

  • Dr. Rubin is a WONDERFUL doctor. Caring, perceptive, and a great listener. She has been most perceptive with respect to my hearing loss, and has recommended great products. Additionally, she has work together with my insurance company to provide as much assistance as possible. The office atmosphere is warm and most accommodating. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

  • I have been a patient of Dr. Rubin's for many years. Dr. Rubin is always willing to take the time to make sure everything is right. Recently, I was there to pick up my new Oticon hearing aids. She gave me so much of her time to make all the adjustments that were necessary and paired it to my iPhone. Dr. Rubin explained what hearing loops were and funny enough I was at the Jacob Burns movie theater right after the office visit and was able to pair my hearing aids. This made the movie so much more enjoyable. If she's running a little behind with her appointments, be patient - she will give you the time you need! I highly recommend Bonnie Rubin!!
